About Us

Hi, We are Justin and Taylor. We married on August 8, 2020. Of course, we are not the perfect couple. We do not have all the answers, but we are going to share how we personally make it work!

We met in the spring of 2018 through a mutual friend in Bangor, Maine. It was a quick introduction, both unbeknownst to one other we both wanted to see each other again soon. Quickly after we began dating, Taylor was forced to move to Southern Maine for work. That didn’t last long.

In the fall of 2018, Taylor opted to take a job in the Bangor Area. Back in the same town again, nothing was going to stop us. In the Spring of 2019, Justin popped the question. She said yes. We said our “I do’s” on August 8, 2020 in front of around 50 people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This website was created after a long talk about doing something and finally having the extra time to do it. Of course, the circumstances of the start of the website aren’t the greatest (working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic), we are glad to be able to share this with you.

Posts, videos, podcasts and so much more will be on this site. We will talk about how we both brought different passions into this relationship and how we are open to learning more about those passions and each other. Marvel was just the beginning… We hope you enjoy this experience as much as we will.

Justin Soderberg

Born in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Justin has spent most of his life in Maine with stops in Kittery, Bangor and Orrington. However, most of his twenties was spent in Massachusetts, but moved back to Maine in 2016. Justin is the General Manager and Graphic Designer at Orono Brewing Co. He enjoys craft beer, Marvel (and Image) comics, basketball, cornhole, cooking and spending time with friends.

Taylor Bemis

Born in Lewiston, Maine. Taylor has spent her entire life as a Mainer. She graduated from the University of Maine in 2018 with a degree in Engineering and currently works as a Structural Engineer in Maine. Taylor has spent time in Lewiston, Biddeford, Orono and now Orrington. She enjoys playing board games, hiking, reading, cooking and spending time at camp!
