OMG! Less Than Two Weeks and We Will Be…MARRIED!!

MARRIED

The website title is Married Into This, but as most of you know, we are not married as of yet. Well, we are less than two weeks from getting married into this…

Although we are under two weeks out, there is still so much to get done. We got engaged in May 2019, so you’d think most of the planning, prep and final arrangements would be done by now. However, most of the planning or final arrangements can’t be done until closer to the wedding.

Last week we accomplished paying the final bills on some of our vendors, including photographer and venue. We spoke with our officiant to make sure things are going to go smoothly. Finalized the guest list and seating chart.

The last few weeks allows us to finish up music selection, finalize menu with caterer (and pay them), as well as any small details we missed.

Our rehearsal will be the night before, and due to COVID-19 we couldn’t have it anywhere out and about, but we are luckily enough to host it in our own backyard. Local pizza, some beverages, run through the motions and socialize with our families.

As we get closer and closer, we get more excited and happy. We are so luckily that we are able to go ahead with our ceremony and reception, even with the current state of the world. Yes, we did scale it back, yes, we can’t do EVERYTHING we wanted to do, and yes, not everyone we wanted to invite will be in attendance. However, it will be our special day. A day we will remember forever!

Lastly, let’s give a shoutout to the awesome people who are involved in our wedding day.

Belinda from the Khatadian Area Council for the help with our beautiful venue; Jeff and Chausey from Jeff’s Catering for our food and bar; Brian Keezer from Journey Church for being our officiant; Faith Elizabeth of Jennifer Lynn Photography for taking photos on our special day; Salt Farm Flowers for our flowers and Dana Cassidy for arranging them for us; Print Bangor for printing our invites and more; Taylor’s Mom and Step-Dad for helping with centerpieces and more; Justin’s parents for helping with the rehearsal dinner; Jillian from Sweet Willamina for our wedding cake; Emily Bemis for making Taylor’s hair look beautiful; and to Gordon Chicoine for being the barber to the stars.

A couple people are missing from our thank you’s, but that was on purpose…there are still a few thank you’s to be made after the surprises unfold!

Thanks to ALL those who support us and the journey we are on. We truly would not be able to do it without you. Looking forward to sharing our wedding experience with you all!
