This time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic has definitely lasted longer than we both expected. However, the benefits are that we have been able to plan our honeymoon and also record more podcasts!
On our latest podcast combines the two things we have focused a lot on during this stay-at-home time, a podcast about our honeymoon. Bonus: we are releasing this podcast on our two-year dating anniversary.
The goal is to still go on our honeymoon, a roadtrip around Arizona in a Voyager Campervan. We will visit the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Cathedral Rock, Tombstone, Phoenix and Tucson. It includes one stay in a hotel, two nights in an AirBnB and seven nights at campground in our campervan.
It took us months to plan this trip and many variations on the route and stops along the way. Our goal is not to drive more than three hours per day, which allows us to see a lot, but also not be behind the wheel the entire trip.
During the podcast we talk about the trip and how we came about deciding this for our honeymoon. As well as, how you might go about planning your own roadtrip. Lastly we chatted on what options might change due to any unforeseen changes due to the COVID-19 restrictions and etc.
